Malpua

Ingredient:

  • Milk ½ litre
  • Flour (maida)
  • 1 Banana
  • Oil for frying

Method:
Sugar syrup with a pinch of Cardamom powder

Mix the flour with milk to make a semi-thick smooth batter. Keep aside for 3-4 hours. Just before frying, add one mashed banana to the batter. You can also add rasins.

Heat oil in a wide pan and slowly pour the batter into it for from pancake sized flat puas. Remove when both sides are golden brown and strain excess oil. Immerse the puas in the sugar syrup. Serve hot when the puas have soaked the syrup
